CORBY TOWN 3 WEYMOUTH 1
THE Terras were again left frustrated as they slumped to a 3-1 defeat for the second Saturday in succession.
The visitors deservedly took the lead on 14 minutes through an own goal but just like against Hungerford Town the previous weekend, they failed to make their dominance count by grabbing a second and paid the price.
Nathan Rooney equalised just before half-time, catching out the unsighted Jason Matthews, before a deflected overhead kick from Stuart Hendrie made it 2-1 to Corby on the hour.
That scoreline was harsh on Weymouth and as they pushed for a leveller they got caught out again in the closing stages when Hendrie added his second.
The Terras have now lost four of their last five in the Calor Southern Premier Division where they currently sit 16th, eight points off the play-offs, with games in hand on all but two of the teams above them.
