TERRAS’ kit-man Dave Tune has been presented with the Weymouth Football Club Volunteer of the Month Award for December.
Tune, who will turn 70 next week, has been watching the Terras since he was 14 and became the kit-man three-and-a-half years ago.
He spends countless hours washing and preparing the kit for the team as well as performing a number of other odd jobs.
General manager Liz Bell said: “Dave can be found at the Bob Lucas Stadium seven days a week, working to get the kit ready for matches.
“He is a very loyal supporter and volunteer and it is nice to be able to say thank you to him for all his hard work.”
Chairman Chris Pugsley presented Dave with his award at half-time during the league game against Hitchin on Saturday.
