AN AWARD-WINNING care at home provider has brought its service to the doorstep of Bridport residents.
Bluebird Care Dorset will be opening a new office on East Street in Bridport.
Since obtaining its registration in November 2011, Bluebird Care Dorset has gone from strength to strength and the Bridport office is the sixth to be opened within the county and will oversee service delivery in the Bridport, Beaminster and Lyme Regis areas.
The service has won a number of awards to date including being finalists in the Care Innovators category of the Great South West Care Awards for the last three years in a row.
Director, Chris Scriven, said: “Over the last four years, Bluebird Care Dorset has developed an enviable reputation for the provision of quality care and we wished to make this level of service more accessible to those in the Bridport area by being on-hand with a local office.

Agata Worth is joining Bluebird Care Dorset as care manager for the Bridport office.
She said: “I am hugely excited about my new role with Bluebird Care and very much looking forward to ensuring that there is a quality alternative for those in and around Bridport that need to make use of care at home services.

As well as Bridport, it has offices in Weymouth, Dorchester and Wareham. In the east it has offices in Poole, Bournemouth, Ferndown and Christchurch.
Bluebird Care offer bespoke packages of care to older people or physically disabled adults to help them maintain their independence.
Visit times range from half an hour all the way up to 24 hour a day live in care and can include personal care as well as shopping, cleaning or support with social activities.
