The two minute silence at Weymouth Cenotaph was marred by a cacophony of barking dogs, which meant those of us remembering the loss of our loved ones were unable to concentrate our thoughts.
You would not take a dog to a church service so why do they take them to the Cenotaph.
It was very heartwarming to see such a huge crowd on the seafront and the Pages of The Seas was a truly lovely way to say goodbye.
