It must be frustrating to have studied the EU for 20 years, deduced it to be a wonderful organisation, then watch 17.4 million less well informed citizens vote to leave it? (EU claims untrue 30/1/19).

Could the reason we voted to leave have anything to do with the UK being one of only 4 nett contributing members of this club of 28? Who when told that EU payments to deprived areas of the Uk will cease on leaving, understand that we are only receiving some of our own money back?

That most of the club members fail to pay the agreed 2% of their GDP into NATO. (The organisation that lets them sleep soundly in their beds, kept afloat by the USA).

Have seen the UK fishing fleet decimated by the CFP.

The CAP handing out massive subsidies to wealthy land owners.

Perhaps they are witnessing a rapidly changing technological world, where to stay ahead of the game an independent Uk will be better placed. Free to make decisions unimpeded by the protectionist instincts of

27 other countries. I could fill this page but you get the drift.

The EU is no longer the trade organisation set up to stop the Germans pulling on their

boots again, but it's Berlin where Mrs May should head for, where she can talk to the organ grinder and not the monkeys??
