THIS morning my partner and I visited Weymouth Boot’s store.
My partner, who is in his 70s, held the door open for a woman; He has excellent manners!
This person refused to enter the store informing him that it is the 21st century – so he had to let go the door and go into the store.
We are teaching our grandson good manners – what does this say about that?
I have no objection to women wanting equality, but surely seeing an elderly man being
kind, this woman could have been gracious and accept that we were born in the 20th century when manners were upheld.
Shame on you!
