BEING entitled to a blue badge, imagine my surprise at having to pay in each car park when visiting Weymouth and Portland on my day visit this evening week. Blue badge holders are subject to a very formal examination and many of us regard the badge as a perk to being registered disabled. Surely the council could have a rethink and help us in our day to day coping with disabilities?
