The River Wey Society have recently warned its members of Japanese Knotweed and the risks associated with it.
This invasive weed can grow over 2 metres high and is very difficult to destroy which is why the government, in 2013, introduced a legal requirement for property owners to declare any presence using a form TA6 when selling.
More details can be found on the Society’s web site http://www.riverweysociety.co.uk
Yours sincerely
