Following the debate in the Echo concerning Dorset Council's declaration of a climate emergency, I have reread the response from the council about my concern for the safety of visitors to the county.
I was heartened to note that they intend to mitigate climate change, and help offset the emissions from the six hundred plus coal fired power stations planned by China and India, by introducing more energy efficient street lighting.
In view of this, I will reconsider my decision to avoid your beautiful county, but will, of course, avoid the coastal areas that experts, such as the unsmiling young Scandinavian girl with pigtails, say is imperilled by impending inundation.
