In advance of the forthcoming General Election in December, and in hot pursuit of attempting to win over the electorate, the main political party manifestos all appear hell-bent on out-spending each other, and splashing out vast amounts of obscene, unlimited and never ending spend, spend, and more spend...

Attempting to put things into perspective for the everyday local people, it appears most confusing that until recently, the economy was being held-back by a policy of strict austerity, not to mention the quantitative-easing the Bank of England had to put in place at one stage - was that money ever repaid or just written off?

Now, ever-increasingly, we appear to be following in the management style, financial footsteps and thinking of the cash-happy UK football Premiership, where in return for kicking a ball, ludicrous amounts of money swill around on a daily basis - there would certain appear to be a similarity in thinking at the moment.

At the end of the day and most of the time, money can’t buy you love.

Enjoy the pending festive overspend.
