REFERENCE the comments made about the BBC by Richard Drax MP (Echo, January 24); I wholeheartedly agree with him and add the following comments.
Why are the women reporting news-leading programmes, etc allowed to wear such dreadfully revealing outfits with cleavage, etc on display for viewers and such short skirts when the men are smartly dressed in shirts and ties?
Please don't say the clips on microphones are the reason as there is plenty of tops, etc that could be worn to attach the microphones to the person.
I really am shocked at the way the dress standard has fallen in this way and many times have turned off or over to a different programme.
So please let's return to the old standards of the past when one could watch and enjoy what was on the screen.
