Is anyone else as bemused as I am on hearing this week that up to 20,000 people a day are still coming into the country through Heathrow without any health checks whatsoever?
Just think of the number of cars, buses, coaches, and trains that these people are using for their onward journeys and compare that to the four cars that were in Maiden Castle car park that caused consternation and admonishment from police and public last week.
I cannot help thinking double standards are in play somewhere.
To cap it all, I listened yesterday to the suggestion that the 5000 people still using Eurostar every day might be made to wear masks!
I am truly amazed that all these people are still travelling.
Here in lockdown Dorset we are living in a different, and probably, safer world.
