So HMS Titanic (Dorset Council offices in Dorchester) has joined the fleet of empty cruise ships off Weymouth Bay.
The virus has crippled the cruise industry and the Titanic (mega-sized luxury council offices) is no exception.
With staff unable to man the ship as apparently the executive cannot meet the government guidelines for social distancing, despite the PM’s plea to get everyone back to their workplace.
They cannot resume fully crewed, like the cruise ships until the spring! And like the cruise ships may be surplus to requirements.
What a contrast to the admirable NHS who we have been clapping for their valiant work. They did not desert their sinking ship.
