Today's high winds are causing drama on Dorset coastlines - and footage captured by a resident today shows huge waves breaking over Newton's Cove in Weymouth.
Newton's Cove, at the far end of the Nothe gardens, is known among locals for being a sheltered spot - so unusually large waves have been drawing attention during the current storms.
Earlier this week resident Fiona Lawrence also sent the Echo dramatic footage of the Cove.
Elsewhere on the Dorset coast at Swanage a garden has collapsed down the side of a cliff onto beach huts.
And yesterday a boat deck at Castle Cove Beach in Weymouth 'erupted' amid high winds, with warnings issued to avoid the beach as loose timber and debris posing a hazard.
