POLICE are urging motorists to maintain their car's tyres after a black Vauxhall Corsa was seized in Weymouth after it was found in 'dangerous condition'.
Officers stopped the driver of the car yesterday evening in the Wyke Regis area after it had been seen under 'suspicious circumstances'.
Prior to seizure, the car was found to be 'dangerous condition' with one of rear inside-right tyre in a 'poorly maintained' state, according to police.

A Dorset Police spokesman said: "Neighbourhood officers stopped a vehicle in the Wyke Regis area after it was seen in suspicious circumstances.
"The occupants of the vehicle were all detained for a drugs search which resulted in a small amount of white powder being located on one of the passengers. Enquires continue in relation to this.
"A routine check of the vehicle found the car to be in dangerous condition.
"As a result it was seized for a full examination and to prevent it from being driven any further.
"The inside edge of one of the tyres just shows how poorly maintained the vehicle was.
"When did you last check your tyres?
"Once the vehicle examiners report is completed a decision will be made on the most appropriate course of action."
