A COLLECTION of pebbles painted in honour of Harry Dunn, a 19-year-old killed in 2019, have been spread on Portland to mark two years since the teenager visited his favourite place.

Painted pebbles have been put out at Portland Bill in memory of Harry who was killed in a crash outside RAF Croughton in Northamptonshire in August 2019.

The suspect in his death, Anne Sacoolas, the wife of a CIA operative, fled the country after the tragedy while claiming diplomatic immunity. She was charged with causing death by dangerous driving and a legal battle is ongoing in the United States.

Twenty-one pebbles were painted and spread by Harry's family to reflect the age he would be if he was still alive today. The pebbles have been painted with pictures of Portland Bill Lighthouse, green hearts and a ribbon representing the fight his family have gone through to try and get justice for Harry, whose ashes were scattered on Portland.

Harry's dad Tim Dunn said: "We decided to paint the pebbles to mark the two year anniversary since Harry was last on Portland and we hope that people will find the pebbles and go on the Justice4Harry Facebook page to post pictures with them.

"We will then send them a pin badge or a wristband to say thank you for looking for them and then the pebble can be hidden again so that another person may find it.

"It keeps Harry's memory out there and lets people know that we are still fighting to get justice for him. It also gives people who don't know what happened to him the opportunity to learn about his story."

August 27 marks two years since Harry was killed in a tragic car crash and his family will visit Weymouth and spend time at Portland Bill - which was his favourite place - as a way of feeling close to him.

Tim said: "It's a place that really grabs hold of you when you get there, a place you can really think about him and feel close to him.

"It helps with the grieving process to feel near him and to get a chance to speak to him."
