Discharged conditionally for 12 months.

BRADLEY MARK PRICE, aged 34, of Boleyn Crescent, Weymouth. Admitted driving a vehicle on the A37, Dorset, when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in blood, namely 5.7 (Kg/L)a , exceeded the specified limit. Fined £300. To pay victim surcharge of £34, costs of £85. Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

IAN MARK KING, aged 42, of Ranelagh Road, Weymouth. Admitted using towards another threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause those persons to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them by any person, or to provoke the immediate use of unlawful violence whereby they would likely to believe that such violence would be used, or it was likely that such violence would be provoked. Fined £120. To pay victim surcharge of £34.

MATTHEW SHAUN JOHN TONGE, aged 29, of Hazeldown Avenue, Weymouth. Found guilty of when suspected of having driven a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen or specimens of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether an offence had been committed, failed without reasonable excuse to do so. To pay costs of £200. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

BENJAMIN JAMES DICKER, also known as BEN JAMES DICKER, aged 24, of Holland Road, Weymouth. Admitted, without lawful excuse, damaged bookshelves books and other personal items to a value unknown, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Also admitted assaulting a victim by beating him. To pay victim surcharge of £95. Also admitted commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made by Dorset Magistrates on 18/01/2021 for the offences of harassment x 2 and theft. Community order made: Participate in an accredited programme for 29 days; rehabilitation activity requirement, unpaid work requirement: Carry out unpaid work for 50 hours within the next 12 months.

CHRISTOPHER PAUL HOOK, aged 46, of Dorchester Road, Weymouth. Admitted having possession of 0.51 grams of herbal cannabis, a controlled drug of class B. Also admitted driving a motor vehicle on Preston Road, Weymouth, when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), in blood, namely 3.2 micrograms per litre, exceeded the specified limit. Fined £120. To pay victim surcharge of £34, costs of £85. Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months. No separate penalty for another offence of possession of drugs.

DEBBIE ANNE LIGGINS, also known as DEBBIE ANNE SMITH, aged 43, of Cromwell Road, Weymouth. Admitted driving a motor vehicle on Littlemoor Road, Weymouth, when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely benzoylecgonine (cocaine body breakdown product), in blood, namely greater than 800 micrograms per litre, exceeded the specified limit of 50 micrograms per litre. Fined £120. To pay victim surcharge of £34. Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

LEE JAMES DOLBEAR, aged 47, of no fixed address. Admitted failing without reasonable excuse, to comply with a direction given under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act by returning to the locality, namely Weymouth town centre, within the exclusion period specified. Discharged absolutely. Also admitted commission of a further offence whilst subject to a conditional discharge order imposed on 16/04/2021. No action taken on breach. Also admitted commission of a further offence whilst subject to a conditional discharge order for an offence of harassment imposed on 04/05/2021. No action taken on breach.

LEE WILLIAM BETHELL, aged 48, of Bayard Road, Weymouth. Admitted being a person driving a motor vehicle on A3066 Melplash, Bridport, on being so required by a constable, failed to produce for examination the relevant certificate of insurance or security. WESLEY HANKIN, aged 30, of HMP YOI The Grove, Portland. Admitted, without authority, possessing inside a prison, namely HMP YOI Portland, a device capable of transmitting or receiving images, sounds or information by electronic communications, namely a Black Zanco mobile phone. Committed to prison for 6 months consecutive to sentence imposed on 03/05/2019. Reason: offence so serious because the offence was aggravated by the defendant's record of previous offending. To pay victim surcharge of £128.

DORCHESTER

JACK ANTHONY IAN ROWLAND, aged 22, of Damers Road, Dorchester. Found guilty of driving a motor vehicle on A354 Weymouth relief road, at a speed exceeding 60 miles per hour, namely 93 mph. Fined £300. To pay victim surcharge of £70, costs of £110. Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 6 months. Also admitted driving a motor vehicle on Bridport Road, Poundbury, when there was not in force in relation to that use such a policy of insurance or such a security in respect of third party risks. Fined £300. Also admitted using a motor vehicle on Bridport Road, Poundbury, and as respects which no test certificate had been issued within the appropriate period, having expired on 21 February 2021. Fined £100.

MARK RAYMOND RAMSAY, aged 37, c/o Colliton Street, Dorchester. Admitted having possession of a small amount of diamorphine, a controlled drug of class A. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. To pay victim surcharge of £22. Also admitted having possession of a small amount of cannabis, a controlled drug of class B. Discharged conditionally for 12 months.

JOHN ROBERT MILLIGAN, aged 38, of High East Street, Dorchester. Admitted, at South Street, Dorchester, stealing items of make-up to the value of £297.72 belonging to Superdrug Stores. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. To pay compensation of £297.72.

JAMIE YATES, aged 42, of York Terrace, Dorchester. Admitted, at The Brewhouse and Kitchen public house, Dorchester, assaulting an emergency worker, namely a police officer, acting in the exercise of his functions as such a worker, by beating him. Fined £700. To pay compensation of £50, victim surcharge of £70, costs of £85. Also admitted, at The Brewhouse and Kitchen public house, Dorchester, using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby.
