BOTH the A354 and A35 are now fully clear following a tipped-over load carried by a tractor and a separate crash - which caused huge delays around the Football Ground Roundabout on the A35.

Dorset Council have said the A35 westbound (Dorchester Bypass) is now clear after a tipped over load caused long queues, which was made worse by a two-car crash next to the A354 Weymouth Road (Football Ground Roundabout).

The crash caused the A354 to be closed by emergency services with traffic stretching towards Weymouth.

Dorset Police have said the A354 has reopened following the crash

A spokesman from Dorset Police said: "The A354 between Weymouth and Dorchester has reopened following road closures put in place between the Jurassic and Football Stadium Roundabouts.

"This was to allow emergency services to work safely at the scene.

"Traffic is heavy in the area. Thank you for your patience."
