I was very interested in Don Reyd’s letter on 30 November about following the rules.

I have contacted my local school about cars running their engines while parents are waiting to pick up their children, but I did not know it was against the law.
The school is doing all it can but they are fighting a losing battle.
Where is the community police officer who could inform these parents of the law?
