I have read some extremely interesting articulate letters in the Echo recently regarding the possible return of a ferry service to Weymouth.
What a great idea! I have many happy memories of journeys to the Channel Islands and France. As far back as arriving by train with my children.
It would be a tremendous boost for the town, the town’s business and all surrounding areas.
Although I’m not a resident I spend a lot of time in Weymouth and even more now Brexit has limited my and everybody’s overseas travel.
May I suggest the Dorset Echo and its readers start a “Bring back our Ferry” campaign? I am pretty sure it would be successful!
