There are reports of an impassable road near Dorchester due to flooding. 

Muckleford Road, just off the A37, remains flooded today (Monday). 

It comes as the Environment Agency issues the Upper River Frome with a red flood warning

First reported just before 4.20pm yesterday, Muckleford Road in inaccessible between the turn-off from the A37 and Muckleford Bridge, just before you get to Winterbourne Abbas. 

Drivers are advised to approach the area with caution and allow extra time for their journey. 

There is a road sign at the beginning of the road warning drivers that the route is 'liable to flooding'. 

The incidents follow heavy rainfall across Dorset in recent days. 

The Grove, Dorchester, was flooded for most of yesterday but has since cleared. 

The county has been subject to three Met Office weather warnings this week alone, the latest on Saturday night which warned of heavy rainfall and wind.

On Sunday, the Environment Agency issued two red flood warnings for parts of the county due to rising water levels. They remain in place today.
