A new an exciting new festival is just days away from taking off in Dorchester.

The Dorset Hot Air Balloon Festival is coming to the county for the first time this weekend with plenty of exciting activities for all ages.

The inaugural event has faced some challenges after having the plug pulled on it just weeks after tickets went on sale.

However, several months later the festival was back on and is set to take place at Dorchester Showground on Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5 .
