They include a proposal to vary the approved plans for the former NatWest building at 23-25 Market Place, allowing the subdivision of the existing commercial unit into two commercial units, with new doors, windows, and internal alterations (P/VOC/2026/03592).
The Market Place also features an application for listed building consent to install defibrillator and bleed kit cabinets on the external wall at Nationwide (P/LBC/2026/03685).
Elsewhere in the town centre, Poundstretcher in East Street is the subject of an advertisement application for one non-illuminated fascia sign on the front elevation and two non-illuminated signs to the rear (P/ADV/2026/03312).
Commercial and employment-related proposals include an application to retain a two-storey building for office facilities at the Environment Agency’s Rivers House, Sunrise Business Park (P/FUL/2026/02882).
Land adjacent to Lop Hill Farm, Langton Road, is also listed for a proposed change of use of an existing agricultural building to commercial use (P/PAAF/2026/03163).
Householder applications include plans at Underone House, Kings Road, for a rear single-storey extension and access ramp, with the existing conservatory to be demolished (P/HOU/2026/03650).
At 22 St Leonards Avenue, permission is sought to erect a rear extension and annexe, convert the loft and demolish and replace the existing garage (P/HOU/2026/03140).
A separate application at 163 Salisbury Road proposes a side double-garage extension with a room above, two dormer windows, and a rear balcony (P/HOU/2026/03965).
