BRIDPORT boss Adam Fricker is taking heart from the Bees’ recent performances as his side prepare to travel to Hallen in the Toolstation Western Premier Division tomorrow (3pm).

Bridport come into the match off the back of two 3-1 wins, while their Les Phillips Cup match against Clevedon Town on Tuesday was abandoned after Morgan Williams suffered a suspected broken leg after 85 minutes.

Fricker said: “I think taking Tuesday into consideration the last three games have been very positive (performance-wise).

“We should have Chris McGrath back in the squad on Saturday, he has overcome his hamstring injury now so hopefully he can come back fitter and stronger.”

Bridport had dominated against Clevedon but were drawing 0-0 at the time of the injury.

The Bees face a Hallen side that they thrashed 5-0 earlier in the season in the FA Cup preliminary qualifying round.

Fricker said: “We are under no reservations that Hallen have picked up since we played them in the FA Cup this season, we beat them 5-0 so I am pretty sure that they will be looking to put one over us and right those wrongs.”

However, Hallen are 14th, three points and three places ahead of Bridport but are winless in their last three matches in all competitions. The Bees have Andy Martin suspended, while Lee Sweet will be missing.
