MARK Molesley says his Weymouth side should not feel sorry for themselves and that they should be full of confidence ahead of their trip to Tonbridge Angels in the Vanarama National League South tomorrow (3pm).

Fellow promoted side Tonbridge have had a very different start to their season, sitting bottom of the table with four points after one win, one draw and five losses.

Molesley told Echosport: “We have got Tonbridge and then Oxford away so we have got two away trips so it does not really slow up yet – it is coming thick and fast.

“So you cannot feel sorry for yourselves and nor should we, we have shown what a good side we can be, we should be full of confidence.

“So we will take that confidence and that positivity into our next two games knowing that if we turn up, playing how we know we can play we can give a good account of ourselves.”

Weymouth go into the match after their first two league defeats of the season, after falling to 1-0 away at Chippenham Town, before losing a thrilling 4-3 battle against Wealdstone.

However, the Terras sit sixth after a great start to the season, saw them go five games unbeaten, winning three and drawing two.

Tonbridge entered the National League South from the Isthmian Premier Division after winning the Super Play-Off Final, beating Weymouth’s former league rivals the Metropolitan Police 3-2 after extra time.

Molesley added: “I have always said there are no easy games in this league, they are all going to be tough, and Tonbridge will certainly be that, they have done well getting out of their league, as have we, so I’m sure it will be an exciting encounter.”

Stephane Zubar (rested) and Ben Thomson (hamstring) could return, but Josh McQuoid (hamstring) remains sidelined.
