WEYMOUTH chairman Ian White has urged Terras fans to support the club in numbers for the upcoming Vanarama National League season.
Brian Stock’s part-time side finished a hugely creditable 18th on their return to non-League’s top flight following an absence of 11 years.
Weymouth will begin the 2021/22 league season on Saturday, August 21.
Speaking to Echosport, White said: “I’m looking forward to it, it’s going to be a huge battle.
“Now we really know what this league is about – it isn’t what it was 11 years ago.
“We want the town to embrace us, we’ve done amazingly over the last three or four years and where we are now is just incredible.
“I never believed, like a few people my age, in my lifetime we’d be back in the National League.

“It’s a huge chance and it’s going to be interesting as well, if we get to the 21st of August with the restrictions gone how many people will come back.
“I just hope they do, because we really need them. We’ve got to try and get the club up there where we want it to be.”
