DORCHESTER Town will aim to continue their impressive home form when welcoming Wimborne Town to the Avenue Stadium in their FA Cup first qualifying round replay tonight (7.45pm).

The Magpies duo were inseparable over 90 minutes on Saturday, as fans from both teams scratched their heads after a goalless draw flush with chances.

Either side twice clattered the woodwork and Dorchester were particularly wasteful having created numerous gilt-edged opportunities without taking them.

However, Glenn Howes’ men boast a 100 per cent record after three games at the Avenue this season and a fourth win will hand them a tie at Willand or Swindon Supermarine in the next round.

Speaking to Echosport, first-team coach Brian Churchill said: “First and foremost we’re in the draw which was the target.

“We’re looking to grind out a decent result on our home pitch where we’ve been in good form.

“What we have shown is that away from home we’re resolute, difficult to break to down. Harry Lee’s asking for a clean sheet bonus, I don’t think he’s ever had so many!

“We’re hard to play against this season, which has been a frailty of ours before, so at home on our surface we’re expecting to continue in the same vein we played the first half (at Wimborne).”

Brad Snelling (concussion) is available for selection after his return to the bench on Saturday, while Jordan Ngalo (hamstring) is expected to be out.

Ollie Griggs has served all three games of a suspension for a red card at Beaconsfield and is in contention to feature.
