CHAMPION Sports excelled on foreign soil to win the Football Cup Barcelona – without conceding a goal in six matches.
Sports, based at Dorchester Town’s Avenue Stadium and run by renowned coach Dan Neville, were drawn in Group A in the round robin stages.
They drew 0-0 with fellow English side Carlisle City Sky, before seeing off Irish outfit Strand Celtic A 3-0.
The Basque Country’s European Soccer Solutions (ESS) were their next victims, falling to a 2-0 defeat.

And Sports rounded off the group stage with a 3-0 win over Norwegian hopefuls Gjerstad IL.
In the semi-finals, a fourth-minute goal from Will Tubbs proved the difference as Sports sent Collinstown packing with a 1-0 result.
They were given their sternest test in the final against ESS, with the showpiece ending 0-0 and necessitating penalties.
And Sports duly held their nerve to win 6-5 in a tense shootout to take home the trophy.
