WEYMOUTH will host Dorchester Town in a mouthwatering Ridgeway derby in January.

It comes after the draw for the Dorset Senior Cup semi-finals was made, pitting the two old enemies together in the last four.

Weymouth beat Hamworthy 4-3 to qualify, while Dorchester overcame Sherborne 5-2.

The fixture is a repeat of the 2020 final when Weymouth won 4-2 at the Avenue Stadium.

Their most recent clash came in July when a late Dan Gifford goal gave Weymouth a slender 1-0 victory in a pre-season friendly at the Bob Lucas Stadium.

Poole have been drawn away to Wessex League side Shaftesbury in the other semi-final.

The ties are scheduled for Tuesday, January 10 and with county cups usually taking precedence over league games, it means Weymouth's home game with Concord will need to be rescheduled.

Dorchester do not have the same problem, with the tie falling between league clashes against Hartley Wintney and Winchester.
