It's December 6 and we are about our 8th day in Florida. We were up in St Petersberg where we just finished our first regatta.
I finished second in the 2.4 class. The Sonar team of Hannah Stodel, Steve Thomas and John Robertson finished 1st and Helena Lucas in the 2.4 finished 5th.
We are now about 2 hours drive down the road in Fort Myers where we will train for two days and then have a four day competition.
It has been unseasonably cold here with temperatures as low as 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Although it is better than being back at home.
Down in Fort Myers Helena and I are staying with Bruce and Barb Millar. Bruce sails the 2.4 for Canada. It is always nice to share accommodation with other people especially from other countries.
