A LUXURY hand-picked hamper company is celebrating after winning an award in a prestigious ceremony.
Cherry Picked Hampers, created by Laurie Griffin and Hayley Davis, was crowned Newcomer of the Year at the Dorset Food, Drink and Farming Awards.
The unique but traditional hampers, which only used products source from Dorset, include a selection of delicious wines, chocolate, cheese, chutneys, beer, cider and more. It supplies hampers for every season and occasion, including birthdays, Christmas and weddings.
Having only set up the business 18 months ago, Laurie and Hayley were delighted to be presented with the award in the ceremony which showcases the very best of Dorset's suppliers, producers and retailers.
Laurie said: "When we heard we had been nominated we couldn’t believe it let alone winning the newcomer award.
"Thanks to the Dorset Magazine for hosting the awards ceremony and the sponsors Orchard Park for selecting us. Congratulations to everyone else involved with this prestigious event."
