NATIONALLY acclaimed teen folk trio Granny’s Attic are performing in Weymouth on Saturday.
Fresh from their success as nominees for the Young Folk Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, Granny’s Attic will be entertaining the crowds at St Edmund’s Hall in Lanehouse from 7.30pm.
Doors open at 6.30pm and Weymouth singer songwriter George Clark will be the support act until Granny’s Attic take to the stage.
George Sansome, Lewis Wood and Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne have had a busy few weeks gigging around the country.
The Worcestershire teenagers, who met at secondary school, have been staying in Bridport and Charmouth, where Lewis and Cohen’s grandparents live.
The trio have been busking in Bridport and are performing at the Lifeboat Sessions in Poole and at the Melplash Show.
George said: “We’re really looking forward to playing in Weymouth – we’ve never played there before.”
