There are several flood warnings still in place along the River Frome.
Warnings are in place from Maiden Newton to East Stoke as river levels remain high and are still rising due to the heavy rainfall in recent days.
The Environment Agency has said it believes there is a possibility of flooding for the Upper River Frome and its tributaries and the Lower Frome at Dorchester.

Flooding is forecast to affect locations all along the river, with areas in Higher Frome Vauchurch, Frome Vauchurch, Cruxton, Notton. Frampton, Grimstone, Muckleford, Stratton, Bradford Peverell, Wrackleford, Charminster, Frome Whitfield, Wolfeton, Lower Burton, Cokers Frome, and the Dorchester Road and Frome Lane area of Maiden Newton at risk.
River levels are also high and rising at the Stinsford river gauge on the Lower River Frome at Dorchester with flooding likely to affect locations along the river in the Dorchester at Casterbridge Trading Estate, London Road, Mill Street, London Close, Durnover Court and Kings Road.

The river has already burst its banks this week and more heavy rain is also expected to hit the county on Thursday, December 5, after the Met Office issued another yellow weather warning.
People are being advised to avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and to not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
People in these areas should take action now and are being urged to take care.
